This "thing" isn't totally nasty, but it is close to it. Pros: 1) Sort of keeps your hair in place through an oily clingyness. Cons: 1) Does not keep your hair in place, instead, it sort of clamps it together so it simply feels like you got caught in an oil based rain. 2) Smells bad. This stuff smells bad. It smells like rotten cologne and motor oil. 3) Stuff is flammable. That is to say there is a warning on it saying it can catch fire. Seriously? You want your head to be a source of combustion? Conclusion: I was interested in this product because I wanted to try a 1950s style look but found out that it a) did not work effectively as a styling product, b) smelled bad (it over powered my aftershave), c) it left my hair looking greasy, dirty, and unkempt. Do not buy this product. Go to a barber or salon and just ask what modern product to use. I would recommend a gel of some kind.
