I am african american and I have soft fine hair that tends to get frizzy at times. I read the reviews on this product and debated whether or not to spend $13.00 on such a small bottle. I was prepared to return it if need be. Thats until I TRIED IT! OMG! This is seriously one of the best products that I have ever used on my hair. I apply it before curling or flat ironing my hair and the results were amazing, I was so shocked!! My hair looked like I had literally just stepped out of a beauty salon! Again, the price is stiff but you wont regret this purchase because it is WORTH it! Laurie prefers Farouk's BIOSILK BIOSILK by Biosilk Silk Therapy Conditioner 34 Oz for her own hair, which is more coarse than mine or her granddaughter's, but notes that Chi Silk Infusion works much better on her granddaughter's fine thin blonde hair much better than Biosilk. Initially, this product appeared not to do anything for my hair; however, with continued use (two-weeks), I have noticed that my hair is softer, smoother, and my ends look a lot better (mended). The only negative is that it does smell like Old Spice Cologne from the 80s. I use this product on my hair when it's wet, and also daily when it's dry. I use it usually before bed (a dime sized amount), then before styling it in the morning. The product does not cause any build up in my hair, which is a plus, and it is very lightweight. If hair serums are too oily or heavy for your use, this may be a great alternative for you. Also if you have TIGI Bedhead in After Party, I would pass on this product since I get the same results using that product. |
