They either don't work, flake off or cause me to not want to even touch my hair during the day. Nothing really worked for my shorter hair cut (#4 on the trimmer) until I was given a bottle of this stuff.While it looks like Elmers Glue, and just about feels like it, you use just a little, dilute it just enough and place in dry hair and your hair will not move, crust, flake or sag all day long. It's expensive, but worth the price. A 5.1 oz tube lasted 4 months, and that included some learning days where I severely over-glued my hair. I bought it in June 2010, so it'll last you about a year if you've got short hair. My hair tends to fluctuate between .5" - 2.0" depending on how long I let it go between cuts. I normally dab a bit in my hands and water it down a bit. Then I 'wash' it off the hands by adding a bit more water and wiping it down all over my head.Good stuff!
