I originally was searching for Pureology Thickening Spray which my stylist uses on my hair, but after reading the reviews on this product, I thought I'd give it a try since it was pretty inexpensive. The first red flag was when I took it out of the package and noticed that it simply said "Spray Gel" with no mention of any thickening effect. I have fine hair, which is exactly why I wanted a product with thickening capability. After using this product for a week straight, the only thing I've found is that it creates static in my hair with absolutely no thickening effect. So, looks like I'm going to go back to my original plan and spend the money to get the Pureology product because at least I've seen that it works on my hair. Some do work better than others depending on your hair type and thickness. This I find works well on my fine, thinning hair. At first I was concerned that the gel might weigh it down, but so far, I haven't had a problem with droopy hair. So, if it's thickness you need and have thinning hair - give this a try; it is a GREAT product. I highly recommend it... |
